Our community is served by many excellent businesses and by outstanding individuals within these businesses. As part of its mission of support, the Chamber recognizes selected businesses and individuals with awards designed to acknowledge their unique contributions to our community.
The Chamber’s Recognition and Award's Committee was established to pro-actively administer the Chamber’s Recognition and Awards Program.

The “Wall of Fame” project was initiated by the Chamber’s Recognition & Awards Committee in 2007 to recognize over sixty Chamber award recipients since the inception of the awards program in 1982. These particular individuals and organizations were acknowledged for their accomplishments in the areas of business and community leadership in six different award categories, including, Civic Leader of the Year (established in 1997), Community Advocate of the Year (established in 2004), Corporate Citizen of the Year (established in 2006), Distinguished Volunteer of the Year (established in 1997), Small Business Advocate of the Year (established in 1997) and Small Business Person of the Year (established in 1982).
